We have an exciting week with NWEA Testing, Schneider's Nursery Field Trip and Grandparents Day! 

NWEA helps us understand how well your child is doing and how they can improve. What's special is that the test is adaptive -- meaning the test changes based on how your child answers. If they get a question right, it gets harder. If they get it wrong, it gets easier. This way, we can see what your child knows and what they need to learn next. Religion: We will be wrapping up Unit 1 and studying for the Unit 1 Test on Thursday. 

Memory: 1st half of the Epistles, Homework and Quiz on Friday: Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1Timothy, & 2 Timothy

Reading: We will be reading and responding to many short texts about careers since we are doing NWEA testing this week. Meteorologist, Journalist, Police Officer, President, and Paleontologist

Math: Topic 9: We will be using what we learned to practice Addition/ Subtraction Strategies.

Spelling/Phonics: Homophones, List 6, Pretest on Monday, Homework and Test on Friday.   

English/Writing: We will learn about adverbs and how to use adverbs in our writing.

Science: We will begin our Weather Unit. 

Handwriting: Lowercase m & n
